SUMMARY:Everyday Goodness – Loving Kindness with Kath Mitchell
DESCRIPTION:4 – 6 October 2019\nWe all have the same innate, boundless loving capacity. Kindness, a natural quality that is already present within us, can be cultivated, nurtured and offered to ourselves and others. In this weekend retreat we will learn the healing, generous and liberating meditation practice of Loving-Kindness.\nOur exploration will be nourished by the supportive natural environment of the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre. Meditation and creative activities will be offered so you can explore Loving-Kindness in different ways.\nIn many people’s experience, it is often easier to be kind to others, than to be kind to ourselves. As our hearts soften, kindness towards ourselves and all of life grows and we open more fully to the reality of here and now, and feel truly present. Through this process a greater sense of flow and everyday goodness in our lives can unfold.\nThis retreat is suitable for beginners and people with meditation experience.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Kath\n\nKath Mitchell has been studying Dharma for 30 years, and completed her first meditation retreat with Tarchin Hearn in 1989. She has studied with Bonni Ross over twenty years and continues to cherish this precious opportunity. Kath teaches meditation in a collaborative style. She offers courses and retreats at Wangapeka and in Nelson. She loves to practice Dharma in community because the wisdom of the group is a powerful and beautiful path to transformation; and that’s a joy to witness and experience together! \n\n\n \n \nCosts\nMembers: $174 Non-members: $194 (plus Dana/Koha*). This covers accommodation, food, admin and cook’s fee.*Dana means generosity and a gift freely given. The teachings are offered freely. You are invited to give Dana/Koha to Kath for the teaching.\nPlease contact Kath Mitchell: mitchell.kath@gmail.com ( mailto:mitchell.kath@gmail.com ) for more information.\nTo register please fill out our online registration form\nRegister now\n*Please consider becoming a Wangapeka member – click here for details.\n
