If you would like to be placed on the Wait-list please email Shelley Taylor at: womenofwangapeka@gmail.com\nDear Women of Wangapeka,\nThis is a precious opportunity to practice together, share deeply and simply be together.\nFollowing on from our joyful learnings hosting the Garden of Mindfulness retreat, this weekend is intended to be a collaborative weekend where the Women of Wangapeka can come together in community, to co-create, practice and gain nourishment within the stunning nature of the Wangapeka whenua.\nThe theme will be based around collective wisdom sharing, using the cycles of womanhood to guide our exploration. We are extremely grateful to have women from the sangha to guide meditations and lead our creative practices. Shan, Chani Grieve, Kath Mitchell and Britta Hamil will be offering their gifts in service to this weekend\nWe’re looking forward to seeing what arises out of us coming together with a shared intention.\nArriving  and leaving times:\nWe are doing things a little different for this retreat so please take note of the arrival time in particular.\nPlease arrive between 10:00am and 11:30am on Saturday morning. We will begin at 12:00 with lunch. \nMonday departure is the same as usual retreats, with people leaving after lunch, around 2-3pm.\nCost:\nMembers: $222\nNon Members: $242\nDana: The spaceholding, teachings and sharings are offered freely. You are welcome to bring cash if you feel moved to give back to the Centre or facilitators.\nBiographies:\nRonnie\nRonnie’s journey with Buddha Dharma began at a women’s retreat in the UK, during her early twenties. It was a defining moment that changed the direction of her life. Since then, she has been guided, inspired and deeply touched by a vast number of women from all over the world.\nAt her core, Ronnie is someone who loves, cares and connects. She is devoted to women’s work and to the power of bringing women together in community. Ronnie has a background in nursing, and is a passionate advocate for people to access health and wellbeing support. Ronnie has recently stepped into facilitating a monthly women’s circle in Motueka — creating safe, supportive spaces where women can show up authentically, witness. others share and listen deeply to their own needs.\nThe Women of Wangapeka retreat has been a dream of Ronnie’s and many others for a long time. This year, the stars have aligned, and she is overjoyed to be welcoming women together for this very special community gathering.\nKath Mitchell\nKath is currently living at Wangapeka with her husband, as a Dharma Practitioner in Residence. She has been studying and practicing Dharma for 37 years, and feels deep gratitude for her Teachers and their lifelong commitment to work for the benefit and freedom of all beings.\n \n \n \nGeorgia McCrory-Bowick\nGeorgia has been involved at the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre for the past 6 years as a student and volunteer. Alongside Ronnie, Hadleigh, Ross and Malu Georgia helped put together the 2025 Garden of Mindfulness: Gathering our Gifts new year retreat. Georgia’s main interest in these spaces is in supporting from behind: doing the administration, crisis management and background coordination to support these experiences to happen, and to bring a youthful community flavour to retreat life at Wangapeka.\nInformation & Registration:\nIf you have any questions, please email our Course Manager, Shelley Taylor at: womenofwangapeka@gmail.com\nTo register please fill out our online registration form\nRegister now\nPlease consider becoming a Wangapeka member – click here for details.\nThe weekend is being supported by a number of women, including Ronnie Englard, Georgia McCrory-Bowick, Kath Mitchell, Chani Grieve and Shelley Taylor.\n
