Walking the Path of Service Retreat with Teresa Goodin

Jul 14, 2017 @ 6:00 pmJul 16, 2017 @ 2:00 pm

With New Zealand Native Teacher Plants

Who heals the healer? It can be a challenge to walk the path of service without burning out or compromising our own wellbeing in the process. During this weekend retreat we will be exploring 36 teacher plants from New Zealand that can assist us with the rites of passage and lessons we encounter on the path of service. Discover how these wise plant allies can empower us to meet the metaphysical spiritual challenges of our times.

Teacher plants are seen as very wise beings that have been on earth for a much longer time than we have, they have much wisdom to share with us. The teacher plants we will be working with make up the Healers and Shamanic collections in the New Zealand First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® range. Renowned Medicine Woman Franchelle Ofsoskyé-Wyber refers to these teacher plants as Whakahirihiri plants, the warriors of the plant kingdom.

This workshop is for anyone who aspires to be a force for good in the world, and is particularly suited for those in the healing and helping professions including shamanic healers, energy workers, counsellors, massage therapists, naturopaths, doctors, homeopaths, nurses, hospice workers, care givers and all those who are working with those in need of assistance. This workshop is also suitable for those who are focused on their own healing and growth.

This workshop builds on the content presented in the Nature’s Healing Matrix workshop held at Wangapeka Retreat Centre last year, however it is a stand alone workshop and no previous experience is necessary. All participants will create a unique flower essence blend made from First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand®. The workshop begins at 6pm Friday night and ends at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

Cost: $200 ($175 if registered and paid in full more than 7 days before the workshop starts). This includes accommodation, food, a cook and a personalised flower essence remedy.
