This retreat will be an introduction to mindfulness, with two yoga classes each day and guided meditations. The yoga classes will be Hatha yoga type classes and are suitable for everyone – from beginners to more experienced. We will also explore restorative yoga. This retreat will provide you with the opportunity to relax and re-charge.
Costs: $175 ($150 if registered and paid in full more than 7 days before the workshop starts). This is brilliant value as it includes accomodation, food and a cook.

About Jamila:
Jamila’s passion for the healing arts began in the early 1990’s when she qualified as a Reiki Practitioner and started taking Yoga classes. She completed her Yoga teacher studies at the Yoga Vidya Centre in Germany and has been teaching yoga since 16 years. She moved to New Zealand in October 2000 and studied Ayurveda at Wellpark college in Auckland. After three years of intensive study Jamila gained her Ayurvedic Practitioners Diploma. It was through yoga and her training in yoga that Jamila became first aware of mindfulness. In 2015 Jamila completed the 8 weeks online MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) course through the University of Massachusetts, which is the original course by Jon Kabat-Zinn (founder of the MBSR courses). Then Jamila continued her passion for mindfulness and trained to be a Mindfulness teacher with Shamash Alidina.
