Awareness is Love with Jeremy Logan and Roger Wilde

Insight Meditation Retreat at Wangapeka Retreat Centre 17 – 22 September, 2024

Across the universe there is only giving and receiving.
All we have to offer, and all that is required, is our kind attention – a form of love.

On this retreat you will investigate the simplicity of this unfolding moment.
Guided by the ancient, reliable Dharma teachings and supported by silence,
you begin to recognise your intimate connection with all things.
The knots of confusion and resistance start to dissolve, and there is the capacity
to engage with the difficulties, joys and sorrows of this world without getting overwhelmed.

COST: REGISTRATION + DANA

Registration
Wangapeka Members:   $ 540         ( camping $ 460 )
Non-Members:               $ 590         ( camping $ 440 )
This covers comfortable accommodation and delicious vegetarian meals, as well as teachers’ travel.
A deposit is required to complete your booking, the remainder due ten days before the retreat.

Dana for the teachers
In keeping with ancient Buddhist tradition, the Dharma teachings are given freely, in the spirit of dana. Dana is a Pali word that means generosity, and this is the foundation attitude for practice. In our modern world, dana may take the form of monetary offering. Participants have an opportunity to offer dana to the teachers at the end of the retreat.

Sangha Support Fund
We keep the retreat registration cost as low as possible, aiming to break even. However, we know that even this basic cost may be unaffordable for people with limited income.  We now have a Sangha Support Fund, which allows some retreatants to pay a subsidized rate. If you need support with costs, please email us, briefly explaining your situation.

Registrations from Overseas: Our intention in offering this retreat is primarily to support the Nelson Insight Meditation community, however we welcome registrations from those living throughout the motu (Aotearoa-New Zealand).
If you live outside Aotearoa, please email us before filling out this form, as we are not set up to take international payments.
