Wangapeka AGM 2023 – All Welcome – UPDATE

Wangapeka AGM Weekend 2023

Friday 21st July till Sunday 23rd July

UPDATE – Chrystal is no longer able to cook for us this weekend. Please bring food to share for the weekend, and Tracy will stock some extra previsions as well.

All members are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Wangapeka Educational Trust.

The AGM itself will be held on SUNDAY at 10:00am

Discussion and socialising will commence at 6pm on Friday with a BYO shared  meal.

You can attend for just a day or all weekend.

Oh, and it’s free! The BOT generously waives all accommodation and food costs for the weekend.

There is opportunity to offer Dana to the Centre to cover the accommodation and lunch costs.

Details

Friday – The weekend commences at 6pm on Friday with a BYO shared  meal. We request that those arriving on the Friday cater for themselves. Come earlier in the day if you wish, to allow time to settle in, explore the land, and prepare your food.

Saturday – A day of Socialising and Discussions. In recent years this weekend has become a most wonderful expression of Awakening in Action. There is no formal Hui this year, the Saturday is an opportunity to discuss any subject and will be self-organised. Bring your own breakfast. Lunch and dinner will be prepared by ourselves and Tracy.

Sunday –  The AGM is a formal occasion when the Board reports to the members about the past year, and proposes a budget for the coming year. Members vote to appoint new trustees to serve on the Board. We’re hoping for at least 2 new Board members to join the 3 who are continuing. People who have been members for a year will be entitled to vote at the AGM.

It is a time to connect with people, sow wholesome seeds, and offer your presence to the shaping of the Wangapeka of the future. The collective energy generated is deeply nourishing for all.

The AGM will commence at 10:00 am and will be followed by Lunch.
