Hadleigh and Malu, our wonderful caretakers, are moving on after more than a year of service at Wangapeka.
Come, celebrate, and thank them for their time at Wangapeka. Let’s awhi them together, as they get ready to leave for the Netherlands.
Afternoon/evening event, come any time from 2pm on Sunday 10th for croquet and badminton, pizzas start at 5. Tim and Jo’s place. (Directions below)
If you want a gluten free/corn free/whatever base, bring it with you. Tim will provide glutenous bases, we will provide tomato base and toppings, but please bring along other nice toppings or snacks/nibbles and your own drinks if you want that.
Bring togs and a towel for a possible sauna.
In case of a wet day, we will need a contingency plan, so please RSVP to wangapekacentre@gmail.com and we can send out any additional info if needed.

Old School Rd is on the true left bank of the Motueka River. It is off State Highway 6, just past the Kohatu turn off and flat Rock Café, (if you’re coming from Nelson way), go over the big bridge. The turn off to Old School Rd is the first turn on the right past the big bridge over the Motueka River. The Old School Rd sign has been stolen, so look for the sign that says Borlase Forest. Tim and Jo’s house is at the end of Old School Rd. When you reach the post box and farm buildings, carry on and follow the road up the hill until you arrive at the house (about 1km from the farm buildings).
