Life as It Is! – a Family Friendly Community Retreat
Come up and join us for a warm community weekend of mindfulness for adults and children. We will explore some of the joys and challenges of walking a spiritual path in the midst of our lives – with families, in community, at work. Let’s support each other to strengthen and discover how to live well with things as they are.
This weekend provides space for family practice, adult practice as well as children-focused sessions. The rhythm for the weekend will include a morning gathering to practice together, family friendly forest walks, times for sharing and conversation, short periods of silent eating, and inclusive games.
By simply exploring the thread of presence together, with a focus on the shared learning we find in community, we can experience contentment and enrichment in our ordinary spiritual lives.
Everybody is welcome to attend this weekend.
The course is facilitated by Louise Petzold, Kath Mitchell, Mark Schrader and Jane Hobday. They are experienced practitioners who have been connected with the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre (and each other) for many years.
